Swimming is a skill for life, and one-on-one swimming lessons in a familiar environment means that we can tailor your lessons specific to your needs. This often means faster progress and better results. At A1 Swimming Academy, our extensive background in competitive swimming, combined with our passion for teaching, encourages a fun, relaxed learning experience for all.
Who do we teach?
Catering to children and adults of all ages and skill levels is our field of expertise – our professional instructors are also trained in the requirements for special needs clients.
Why learn to swim?
Being by the sea is a part of Australian lifestyle and culture. We have more than 10,000 beaches in this country, with around 80% of our population living within 50km of the ocean, so having confidence in and around water, particularly for children, is important for safety, enjoyment and your peace of mind. Also, swimming is great for health and fitness, especially for those looking for a low impact workout.
Where can I learn to swim?
We can come to you if you have a pool or we can arrange to meet at a local Eastern Suburbs beach, pool or rock pool.
We believe that one-on-one training is the best way to ensure you and your children get the most out of each lesson. Classes usually last between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on age and skill level.
